2.3 Development of a 90º

Segmental bend -1

Full, 2 Half Segments

After determining the outline

in figure 1 draw the semicircle

with the centre at point 4.

Divide it into six equal parts

and draw the generating lines

parallel to the middle lines

thus intersecting the mitres at

points 8 to 14 and 15 to 21.

The line segments 1 to 8, 2 to

9, 3 to 10, etc are the lengths

needed for the

development, which is

performed as usual.
