Unequal Tee

Dims Required: OD & OC of both pipes

(Insulation included) & amount of change

(depth of cheek)

Tee Portion

Cut a piece of metal equal to the OC of the small

pipe + Lap, ÷ into equal number of parts

(excluding LAP).

In the lower corner scribe an arc = the radius of

the larger pipe

From the bottom of the arc, scribe a

perpendicular line equal to the small

radius.

Square the small radius and measure the depth of

cheek. Transfer this measurement to

the underside of the arc.

Draw a line across the metal indicating (depth of

cheek).

Using the big radius alternate arc up and down at

each 1/4 point.

Connect the arcs at the tangents using a ruler,

flare if needed.
