Procedure
- Step 1
Draw a Plan View and extend the small diameter and large diameter lines down to a point where you can draw the Elevation View
- Step 2
Draw the Elevation View using these lines as references
- Step 3
Draw a semi-circle at the bottom of the large O.D.I. on the Plan View and trisect and label as shown
- Step 4
Using the radius of the small O.D.I., draw a circle inside the larger semi- circle to the left-hand side so that both O.D.I. lines intersect to the far left
- Step 5
Using the Apex of the small semi-circle, swing arcs from the trisected points to the diameter line
- Step 6
Extend the O.D.I. lines of the cone to form an Apex and from
- Step 7
Set dividers from the Apex to the points on the diameter line of the Elevation View, and swing arcs
- Step 8
Set dividers from 1 to 2 on the large arc and determine a starting point to do a 12- point walk-out on all the arcs swung. Each time you do a walk-out you will Step down one line till you get to Line 7 then you will Step up a line at a time till you get to
- Step 9
Connect all these points to the main Apex as shown. Step10. Set dividers at the main Apex point and to all intersecting points on the small diameter line and swing arcs as was done from the large diameter
- Step 11
Mark all points as was done for the large diameter and connect all points. Add for ccccrimp, bead and tab allowances if required. Re:4-w
