  • Large diameter
  • Small diameter
  • True height

Formulas and Measurements

  • Connect corresponding intersecting lines from the run-out to lines to the lines acquired in Divide Side Elevation View box into six equal parts and label as shown in Figure 2.

Procedure

  1. Step 1

Draw the Plan, Elevation and Bottom Views so that all are centered. one above the other. All three views will have the same Center

  2. Step 2

For the Pipe Run-out, draw a semi-circle at the end of the run-out. Trisect the semi-circle into six equal parts and extend parallel lines from the trisected points to points one third of the way into the cone. Label these points

  3. Step 3

Where Line I intersects the cone, draw a horizontal line to the Center Line of the cone. Label this Line Z

  4. Step 4

Using Point Z as an Apex and the horizontal line from

  5. Step 5

Draw 90 degree lines from these points on the quarter circle to points on the Radius Line Z

  6. Step 6

Where the Square to Round and Cone meet (Figure 2) draw a quarter circle using the radius of the bottom of the Cone

  7. Step 7

Trisect this small quarter circle into three equal parts and draw horizontal lines from these trisection points to points on the larger quarter circle arc

  8. Step 8

Draw lines perpendicular up to the Large Radius line

  9. Step 9

Connect these points to like points on the Radius Line 2. Step IO. Connect corresponding intersecting lines from the run-out to lines to the lines acquired in

  10. Step 12

Divide Side Elevation View box into six equal parts and label as shown in Figure 2. Extend lines down to corresponding lettered lines from the Plan View to the same lettered points in the Elevation View

  11. Step 13

Extend lines down from Points D, E, F and G to where they intersect with the circle in
